Product Overview
Circular gear flowmeters belong to a type of positive displacement flowmeters. Flowmeters are positive displacement measuring instruments used for continuous or intermittent measurement and control of liquid flow in pipelines. They have many advantages, such as a wide range of measurement, high accuracy, low pressure loss, strong viscosity adaptability, the ability to measure high-temperature and high-viscosity liquids, convenient calibration, and easy installation. They are suitable for flow measurement in sectors such as petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, transportation, commerce, food, and medical and health.
The DW-LL series circular gear flowmeter is equipped with a pulse transmitter and a digital LCD head device, which can provide stable and accurate pulse signal output, directly display the instantaneous and cumulative flow of liquid on-site, and offer various remote signal transmission functions. When used in conjunction with an electric display instrument, it can achieve centralized remote control of cumulative, quantitative, and instantaneous flow, and can also measure high-temperature and high-viscosity liquids. Its excellent performance can well adapt to various complex working conditions.
The main body of flow meters for different liquids (acids, alkalis, salts, organic solutions, etc.) can be made of different materials.
Working Principle
Circular gear flowmeters belong to the category of positive displacement flowmeters, and their core metering component is a pair of precisely meshed circular gears.
Driven by fluid pressure, two circular gears continuously mesh and rotate within the metering chamber. With each revolution, a fixed volume of medium is discharged quantitatively and periodically. By detecting the number of gear rotations through a sensor and converting it into an electrical pulse signal or directly displaying it, the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow rate can be accurately calculated.
Due to the extremely small clearance between the gear and the metering chamber and reliable sealing, fluid leakage is extremely low. Therefore, it can still maintain extremely high measurement accuracy for high-viscosity, low-flow media, and the metering results are not affected by changes in fluid flow rate and density, with strong stability.
