Product Overview
The DW-LWGY Turbine Flow Sensor, designed based on the principle of torque balance, is a typical velocity-type flow meter. The product has advantages such as simple structure, light weight, high measurement accuracy, good repeatability, sensitive response, convenient installation, and easy maintenance, and is widely used in multiple industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, water supply, and papermaking.
Working Principle
When the liquid being measured flows through the sensor, under the action of the fluid, the impeller rotates under force, and its rotational speed is proportional to the average flow velocity in the pipeline. The rotation of the impeller periodically changes the magnetic resistance of the magnetic circuit, causing the magnetic flux in the detection coil to change periodically, generating an induced electromotive force with a frequency equal to the rotation frequency of the blades. After amplification, it is converted and processed.
Applicable Media and Working Conditions
Suitable for measuring liquid media within closed pipelines, which are non-corrosive to stainless steel cemented carbide and free of impurities such as fibers and particles. The sensor is compatible with media having a kinematic viscosity < 5×10⁻⁶ m²/s; if measuring liquids with a viscosity > 5×10⁻⁶ m²/s, it must be calibrated with the actual liquid before use.
Function and Expansion
When paired with a dedicated function display instrument, it can achieve automated control functions such as quantitative control and overrun alarm;
The explosion-proof product has a protection level of Exd IICT6Gb and can be safely applied in flammable and explosive hazardous working conditions.
